With the Surrey/H,/bants Borders CAMRA AGM scheduled for Saturday PV
readily accepted MV’s transport offer for an early doors sampling.
Several other CAMRA members had the same idea and a steady stream
arrived during the session, which was nice.

KOC had offered to drive and even when PV spannered the works by
requesting a lift remained constant and delivered Mengo in two
trips. Apart from the two round ones who were suffering from
revisiting viruses the rest of the boys were buoyant; KOC as MG had
at last fitted his new front door, MG as he had at last fitted KOC’s
new front door, RN as he had booked the hotel accommodation for
Munich, TM as his Karlsruhe novelette was finally published, PC as a
result of his weeks cultural visits and all the famous four as the
trip to Salisbury had been very enjoyable.
The beer at the pub was alright as well.
